It was moving! <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-d08ps225\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">I am sure you have similar reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-mop0d227\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Patient testimonials are useful in marketing and demonstrating your credibility. There is software that captures and encourages positive reviews, and you can just ask patients to write something about their wins. You can also record the patient talking about their health success in a short video. These can be included on your website, social media, and in your newsletter.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<h3 id=\"viewer-rfyxp229\" class=\"-R2Zz aNwlI -bt26 _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"_8FJTI\">MORE THAN MARKETING<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-f1e9t658\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">But testimonials and reviews are more than marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-63044622\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">FIRST, they are a personal statement sincerely expressed by your patient. Your patients courageously express their wins so other people can learn about them. They are standing up for themselves and the doctors and staff that helped them.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-bf50e235\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">This is not a small thing &#8212; you should personally acknowledge any review you receive.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-eyxil698\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">SECOND, you and your team may not always see or appreciate the outcomes of your combined work. Aside from providing clinical services, there is also scheduling, payments, note-taking, patient communication, and marketing. Plus, everyone shares a hundred other administrative tasks. All of this eventually results in a great result for your patient. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-pbtf5239\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">In college, one summer, I worked in a cannery. I was a &#8220;tray boy,&#8221; I put trays of empty cans on a stand and then took them off once the cans were filled with fruit (pineapple) from a conveyor belt that never stopped. That&#8217;s all I did. I never saw the completed canned products, their labeling, or even enjoyed eating them. I was basically a robot, a cog on an endless conveyor belt. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-yn05e241\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Similarly, team members can focus on their specialties and not always see the transformative results they are helping to create with patients. Work can become routine, just an assembly line that never ends.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-zcz9n243\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">LASTLY, the testimonial describes your WHY.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-4jxrl245\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">The idea of &#8220;Why&#8221; was popularized by Simon Sinek and his Ted Talk and posted on YouTube in 2009. The next inner circle describes HOW the business does what it does. And the innermost circle describes WHY the business does what it does. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-0zqa2249\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS kJUgJ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">&#8220;Every single person, every single organization on the planet knows what they do, 100 percent. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-prodz251\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS kJUgJ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">&#8220;Some know how they do it \u2026 But very, very few people or organizations know why they do what they do. And by &#8220;why&#8221; I don&#8217;t mean &#8220;to make a profit.&#8221; That&#8217;s a result. It&#8217;s always a result. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-6o2ct253\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS kJUgJ\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">&#8220;By &#8220;why,&#8221; I mean: What&#8217;s your purpose? What&#8217;s your cause? What&#8217;s your belief? Why does your organization exist? Why do you get out of bed in the morning? And why should anyone care? \u2026 the inspired leaders and the inspired organizations &#8212; regardless of their size, regardless of their industry &#8212; all think, act and communicate from the inside out.&#8221; * <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-2f8g9255\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Everyone in your office, patients, staff, and perhaps people in your community, know WHAT you do. You provide health care. Some of your team members might know HOW you do it \u2013 what procedures you use and how they work for patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-21pyu257\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">But to have a fully engaged and motivated team, and even a patient community, you need to <em>keep<\/em> connecting them to WHY the offices does what it does. And not just the office &#8220;mission statement,&#8221; but WHY this is your mission.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-6eztg259\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG -bt26 _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\"><strong>IN YOUR OFFICE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<ol class=\"bu-Wp _8UBmS\">\n<li class=\"_3TiTE\" dir=\"auto\">\n<p id=\"viewer-3fenq261\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Thank each patient for their review.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"_3TiTE\" dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p id=\"viewer-s3h6u263\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Connect team members and their work with the clinic outcomes and patient successes. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"_3TiTE\" dir=\"auto\">\n<p id=\"viewer-favnv265\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Connect everyone, including yourself, with the WHY of your services.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-4x0m72650\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG _8UBmS _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"zKS-7\">Ed<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-grjul269\" class=\"bbl5c dkFHG -xZP5 _-7CKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"zKS-7\"><strong>P.S.
