Happy St. Patrick\u2019s Day and another Wisconsin Chiropractic Board of Examiner\u2019s meeting in Madison.<\/p>\n
The WCEB is moving forward on their plans for a live patient, six-hour state practical exam to \u201cimprove the quality of chiropractors in the State\u201d (or to limit the number of chiropractors in the State, depending on whom you talk to).<\/p>\n
The Department of Regulation and Licensing (DRL) is still concerned that the exam will lack validity and that the financial aspects of administering such an exam have not been adequately confronted.\u00a0 Since the exam must be \u201cbudget-neutral\u201d, the State exam should run in the thousands of dollars for each applicant.<\/p>\n
The public in attendance seemed frustrated, especially one DC who broke down as she has moved to Wisconsin but can\u2019t take the board. There is still no exam scheduled for this year, but a promise that there will be one \u2026<\/p>\n
