Motivational Tent Posters

We all can sometimes lose our way. We set a goal, we have a dream, we work for some purpose. Yet, along our path we are hit with oppositions and distractions and we can easily become confused and sidetracked.

Good quotations can help remind us about our goals and encourage us to stay on track. They act as cheerleaders to help us achieve our goals.

Each month for the last ten years we have selected quotations designed specifically for chiropractors and their teams. We then place them on a fold-over “tent poster” which can be placed on a desk or posted on a bulletin board each month.   We currently have many of these on our PM&A private members site, but now will be posting them here each month for public access as well.

Directions For Using Motivational Tent Posters:

1. Click on the poster. A “PDF” file will open.
2. You can “Save As” in a directory on your hard drive if you would like, or just print once you have it opened.
3. It can be printed on regular paper or card stock, or photo copied onto card stock, and then folded over placed on your desk.
4. Print a few copies and place a few around the office for doctors and staff to read.
5. Use one per month.

Here is one way to use them throughout the month to help keep everyone motivated:

1. Select a quote on a tent poster and place one in each major area of your office, including the front desk, billing, doctor area, and patient area if you like.
2. Have a staff meeting and read the quote to all staff and doctors.
3. Then ask the staff: “What do you consider this means?” Ask each staff and doctor for their opinion. Let them know this is not a test; you just want their point of view.
4. Then, ask them “How does this quote relate to improving our practice for this month?” Again, ask each staff and doctor this question with no judgment. It is OK to query answers, just don’t stifle their responses.
5. Then, give your opinion about how the quote relates to improving the office.
6. At each weekly staff meeting, briefly go over the quote again and ask staff and doctors how they applied it that last week.
