Dave Michel contributes to the well being of the Sheboygan Wisconsin community as a board member of the Sheboygan Boxing Club. Here he is being one of the announcers at a Saturday evening match-ups with local youth boxers from around the state. This program provides an excellent opportunity to direct the energies of young men into positive efforts that will help them later in life.

Dave’s father, Ed Michel, was a Golden Glove Boxer Champion in 1938, and though at 87 his memory lapses sometimes, he still recalls when as a Milwaukeean, he made the trek up to Sheboygan to box.
Here is is again, 50 years later, with his son Dave, enjoying the “sweet science” of boxing.
